In this role, Dr. Fields-Johnson will be responsible for developing strategies that meet the overall talent needs of the organization. In partnership with business leaders, she will translate talent needs into concrete ideas and identify appropriate strategies and interventions for learning, communication, organizational effectiveness and talent management.

Dr. Fields-Johnson brings extensive experience as a strategic change leader to Carhartt, most recently serving as Head of Learning and Development (L&D), Global Operations and Information Technology (IT) for AstraZeneca. There, she set direction and strategy for L&D globally across five functions and three regions in support of business strategy and talent priorities.

Previously, she held various HR positions with increasing responsibilities at Penske, Saint-Gobain and Merck & Co.

Dr. Fields-Johnson earned her doctorate in education from Neumann University in Aston, Penn.her Master of Science in Organizational Development and Training Saint Joseph University of philadelphia creamhis bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Temple University in philadelphia cream. She also obtained her postdoctoral certification in human resources management from Villanova University in philadelphia cream.
