Regal Entertainment and Reality MM Studio tap Virtual Playground as their talent management arm

Two of the largest and most awarded entertainment companies in the Philippines – Regal Entertainment and Reality MM Studios have sealed their partnership with a leading talent management agency – Virtual Playground to officially manage the careers of their contracted artists and aim to discover local talents to play in their future projects.

The announcement was made during a virtual conference call on Dec. 1 by Regal Entertainment’s COO and EVP – Roselle Monteverde, Reality MM Studio’s President and CEO – Dondon Monteverde and the Virtual Playground CEO – Charlie Dy.

Regal Entertainment has been a stable mainstay of Filipino entertainment for decades, churning out dozens of films a year since it was founded by film pioneer Mother Lily Monteverde in the early 1960s.

It was through her ingenuity that the company introduced the famous “Regal Babies” talent roster, paving the way for some of the hottest superstars to appear in Filipino franchise films such as “Shake, Rattle and Roll” and “Mano Po” and TV shows. in the last decades.

In the 1980s, with its production expertise and A-list celebrity roster, Regal Entertainment was instrumental in re-establishing one of the nation’s largest television networks, ABS-CBN, after its closed during the period of martial law.

Currently, Regal Entertainment continues to make an impact on the television scene, working with television giant GMA Network to produce and broadcast ‘Regal Studio Presents’, a collection of feel-good stories featuring today’s most talented celebrities.
