Viral TikTok musician to host talent show in Coventry and spotlight local talent
Musician Ozy Aigbe will host an exciting show in Coventry to spotlight local talent – and will even invite members of the public to sing along on stage. Ozy has gained over a million followers on his TikTok page and made a name for himself as a popular busker who encourages shoppers to join his chant when he performs on the streets.
Ozy, from Birmingham, is known for helping to showcase unknown talent across the UK while performing his own renditions of well-known songs. A Coventry police officer once wowed crowds after singing a rendition of ‘Beyond The Sea’ courtesy of Ozy.
Ozy hits cities across the country with his street gear and says he’s discovered dozens of talented singers on the streets – and now wants to give them a platform to live out their pop star dreams.

He has handpicked four of his favorite singers who have touched his heart and will give them the opportunity to show off their singing talent to the masses. It will also invite spectators to take the stage and sing along, and the event will end with the macarena dance, the cha-cha slide and the YMCA.
Ozy runs The Positivity Movement, an organization that aims to tackle mental health issues with the power of music. He told CoventryLive: “The event is about all the amazing talent I’ve discovered in the city of Coventry, so people can come and listen to these talented people.
“People from the crowd will also have the opportunity to take the stage and sing a song in front of everyone and at the end we will do the Macarena dance and the cha-cha slide so people can expect a lot fun!”
Ozy said he discovered many talented people around us, but the only thing that really stops them is “fear” – which he aims to help people overcome through this family event.
He added: “The reason why I decided to do this event is that there are so many talents around us, and a big problem that prevents them from shining is fear. I was able to help many people to overcome this fear, so now I want to put some of them on stage and introduce them to everyone.
“I chose Coventry as the city to host the show because Coventry is one of the cities that has shown me so much love. Every time I’m there there are so many people who come out to support me and sing with me, so I want to give back.”
The talent show, ‘Talent Nobody Sees Coventry’, taking place at the FarGo Village in Coventry on Friday 29th July. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
